For the past decade King has been aware of green initiatives needed to sustain our environment as well as its corporate responsibilities to do so. King takes this issue seriously and has implemented a number of plans to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
Fleet
We have introduced a number of vehicles that are the most fuel efficient in their class. We have incorporated bi fuel vehicles into out our bus and shuttle vehicle fleets. These vehicles are equipped to run on Propane (LPG). Our fleet preventative maintenance service schedules are preformed by our in-house mechanical department to ensure maximum performance and efficiency. All of our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking systems for more efficient routing, and to minimize engine idling to conserve fuel efficiency. It also records driver performance feedback to ensure safe speeds and abrupt changes in vehicle movements.
Our mechanical department is equipped with the latest in A/C reclamation and emissions control machines. We properly dispose and recycle all department oils and vehicle fluids. We have also installed waste oil heaters in our mechanical department that reuses our waste oil from our fleet vehicles.
Office
We have installed energy efficient HVAC units and all of our office lighting has been replaced with LED efficient lights. We have recycling programs in place that properly disposes of our office paper products, plastic and glass bottles and newspaper waste. We also recycle all of our electronic waste including computer systems, servers, monitors, toner cartridges, cell phone and batteries.

For over 35 years, we have maintained an impeccable safe driving record. Before our chauffeurs are hired they must pass a drug & alcohol screening, a criminal background check and motor vehicle record checks are mandatory plus monthly random screenings for all of our drivers.
Our Freightliner Bus 35 Passenger is our biggest vehicle we carry. If you need maximum room and comfort, this is the vehicle you will want.
