Guest Etiquette When Taking a Limo
It seems pretty self explanatory that when you ride in a limousine, you want to show respect to the driver as they are responsible for your safety and show respect to the vehicle that you’ll be riding in by not leaving a mess. That may sound easy when you are riding by yourself, but what if you are riding in a group? What if you are part of a bachelor/bachelorette party? What if guests will be drinking alcohol? Here are a few tips to avoid any potential headaches during your ride.
Clean Up After Yourself
When you are traveling alone, it may be pretty easy to keep the vehicle clean. But what if you are with a group of friends and people are eating and drinking in the limo and making a mess? Make sure to discuss with the group about cleaning up after yourselves before the trip begins and after. Sometimes its worth just having a bag handy to throw items in so there isn’t much to clean up by the end of the night.
Dont Fight
Of course when alcohol is introduced and partying ensues, sometimes fights do occur. Try to not fight with other guests and never get to a point where fists are thrown inside the vehicle.
Check the Policies Before the Trip
Its important to know all the policies before the trip starts so there are no surprises when the bill comes due. Some limo companies will charge a hefty fee if you do not leave the limo the way you found it. If there is trash that needs to be picked up or if someone ends up drinking too much and gets sick, you could be looking at a big detailing fee to clean the mess.
Also check the rates if you decide to extend your night out. Most companies will charge for a block of time and if you want to extend it, they will bill you by the hour. Make sure to find out exactly what the rates are so there are no surprises at the end of the night
